Natural Magick
What Natural Magick Actually Is
Magick is working with patterns, cycles, and energies that are already present. Moon phases, seasonal shifts, your menstrual cycle, elemental forces, archetypal patterns - these aren't metaphors, they're observable rhythms that affect everything, including you.
Natural magick is about noticing these patterns and working with them instead of against them. Not to control outcomes, but to align your intentions with actual timing.
This isn't mystical woo - humans have been working with these cycles for thousands of years because they work. The moon affects tides, women's cycles, and plant growth. Seasons change energy and mood. Elements (earth, water, fire, air) describe real forces and qualities.
What We Work With
Lunar Cycles
The moon has phases, and different phases are better for different work:
New Moon: Setting intentions, beginning things
Waxing Moon: Building, taking action, adding energy
Full Moon: Completion, release, receiving guidance
Waning Moon: Letting go, clearing obstacles, making space
You can work magick at any time, but lunar timing is like swimming with the current instead of against it.
Menstrual Cycles & Womb Work
Your womb is a cauldron - a place where you can birth anything you want into the physical. Your menstrual cycle isn't just biological, it's energetic, creative, and connected to lunar rhythms.
Understanding your cycle's phases gives you access to different types of power:
Menstruation (Winter/New Moon): Rest, dreamtime, deep intuition, release, spiritual connection. The veil is thinnest here.
Follicular (Spring/Waxing Moon): New ideas, starting projects, creativity, energy building, planting intentions.
Ovulation (Summer/Full Moon): Peak energy, manifestation, outward expression, magnetic power, full creative force.
Luteal (Autumn/Waning Moon): Completion, evaluation, clearing, preparing for release, heightened sensitivity.
Red Moon vs White Moon Cycles:
White Moon Cycle: You bleed with the new moon, ovulate with the full moon. Traditionally associated with motherhood, nurturing, outward-focused creativity.
Red Moon Cycle: You bleed with the full moon, ovulate with the new moon. Traditionally associated with the priestess, healer, inward-focused power, magick, and sexuality.
Neither is better - they're different expressions of feminine power. And cycles shift throughout life based on what you're creating and becoming.
Working consciously with your cycle means using menstruation for deep intuitive work and release, follicular phase for beginning new projects, ovulation for major manifestations and visibility, and luteal phase for completing and evaluating before the next release.
The Elements
Earth, water, fire, air - these aren't just physical substances, they're qualities and forces:
Earth: Grounding, stability, manifestation, physical form. Use for money, home, career, anything tangible.
Water: Flow, emotion, intuition, cleansing, adaptation. Use for healing, emotional work, and navigating change.
Fire: Passion, transformation, willpower, courage. Use for motivation, breakthrough, burning away obstacles.
Air: Ideas, communication, clarity, new perspectives. Use for mental clarity, fresh insights, and shifting thinking.
Planetary Energies and Archetypes
Each planet carries specific energetic qualities - this is observable in astrology and has been tracked for millennia:
Venus: Love, beauty, creativity, abundance, harmony
Mars: Action, courage, vitality, sexuality, protection
Jupiter: Expansion, wisdom, opportunity, growth
Mercury: Communication, learning, connection, quick thinking
Saturn: Structure, discipline, boundaries, mastery, long-term goals
Moon: Intuition, emotions, cycles, receptivity
Sun: Life force, vitality, purpose, authentic expression
You can consciously work with these energies when you need their particular qualities.
Archetypal Patterns
Jung identified archetypes - fundamental patterns that show up across cultures and time. When you work with archetypes, you're tapping into collective patterns:
The Goddess/Divine Feminine: Receptivity, intuition, cycles, creation through being
The God/Divine Masculine: Action, direction, structure, creation through doing
The Lover: Union, passion, desire, creative collaboration
The Magician: Transformation, manifestation, bridging worlds
The Wise Woman/Man: Knowledge, guidance, spiritual mastery
These aren't just ideas - they're patterns you can embody and work with.
Seasonal Cycles
Seasons affect energy, mood, and what's possible:
Spring: New beginnings, planting intentions, fertility, creative projects
Summer: Growth, abundance, active manifestation, full expression
Autumn: Harvest, gratitude, release, preparation
Winter: Rest, reflection, inner work, dreaming, spiritual connection
How Manifestation Actually Works
Manifestation isn't positive thinking or vision boards. It works when:
Your conscious desires align with your unconscious beliefs - if you want money but believe you don't deserve it, you'll sabotage yourself. This is why shadow work matters.
You align with natural timing - working with lunar phases, menstrual cycles, planetary energies, seasonal rhythms instead of forcing.
You embody the energy of what you want - you can't manifest confidence from insecurity or love from fear.
Your sexual energy is cultivated and directed - your womb as cauldron, your creative power online, not depleted.
Your intentions serve something beyond just ego - when what you want actually fits your life and serves more than just you, things move.
Ritual and Practice
Ritual isn't symbolic - it's practical technology for working with consciousness and energy:
Intention-setting rituals to get clear about what you want
Release rituals to let go of what's blocking you
Gratitude practices to shift your relationship with what you have
Seasonal ceremonies to align with natural cycles
Moon ceremonies to work with lunar phases
Menstrual rituals to honour your cycle and harness its power
Daily practices to stay connected to your work
Ethics and Boundaries
Real magick requires integrity:
Never manipulate or control others
Make sure your work doesn't harm anyone
Manifest from actual desire, not ego
Give back to what supports you
Remember you're co-creating, not controlling
Also: energy management matters. Learning to protect your energy, clear your space, and maintain boundaries so you're not absorbing everyone else's shit whilst trying to do your own work.
For Sensitive People
If you're sensitive, you probably already sense energy, feel natural cycles, and pick up on patterns. The challenge isn't learning to be magickal - it's learning to trust what you're already sensing and use it intentionally instead of being overwhelmed by it.
What Sessions Look Like
We work with what you're actually trying to create or shift in your life. I help you understand which elements, planetary energies, menstrual cycle phases, or archetypal patterns are relevant. We design rituals and practices specific to your intentions and your nature.
This includes understanding timing (when to start something, when to release, when to wait), working with the elements that support your goal, harnessing your cycle's power, and building practices that actually fit your life.
What You Get
Better sense of timing - knowing when to act and when to wait
Understanding your cycle as power, not inconvenience
Stronger intuition because you're practising listening to subtle patterns
More ease in creating change because you're working with natural rhythms
Connection to something larger without losing your individual power
Practical tools for working with energy, intention, and cycles
Understanding that you're not powerless - you can work with what's here
Access to your womb as creative cauldron
This isn't about transcending reality or becoming enlightened. It's about working more skilfully with the patterns and forces that are already present, including your own intuition, energy, and cyclical power.
